Visit to the Pumpkin Patch 2018
We enjoyed a lot of fun activities during the month of October 2018 at First Baptist PK! Monday, October 29 we visited the Didier Farms Pumpkinfest located in Lake County, Illinois, and had an amazing time exploring, visiting an animal land, going on a hayride, and having a blast on kiddie rides! And of course picking out our own pumpkins to take home.
We also had a visit from Dave Herzog's Marionettes show "Halloween Hi-Jink," as well as our annual Halloween Parade and trick-or-treating. Please visit our school blog to see more about our monthly school activities and outings.

Spring Gala 2017: We Are the World
First Baptist Preschool & Kindergarten holds an amazing Gala show each Spring to showcase our talent and love of the Stage!
With this year's Spring Gala 2017: We Are the World we celebrated our rich diversity and roots from countries all across the world. Musical performances highlighted a world flair and the Gala included an international fashion show!
Celebration and fellowship follow in the gym after the show! We have musical shows twice a year: our Christmas Program in December and our Spring Gala in April.

Summer Fun!
First Baptist PK has an absolute BLAST in the summers this We LOVE to explore our world!
During the summer we go on amazing educational field trips to visit: Kid City Chicago, Cosley Zoo, 57th St. Beach, Maggie Daley Park, Pump It Up, and explore many more amazing places! We have a pony ride and petting zoo on our front lawn and participate in a 4th of July Bike Parade, have in house field trips and much more!

Thanksgiving Family Feast 2018
We celebrated our annual Thanksgiving Family Feast this year on November 16, 2018 with over 200 family members breaking bread together in beautiful community gathering. We began our traditional meal with a song performance by the After School Girls Program singing from "As" by Stevie Wonder and sang America the Beautiful as an entire group with our families.
Thank you to all of our family members who attended and shared wonderful, delicious contributions to the Feast! We are incredibly grateful for all of your contributions to our school activities!

Christmas Program 2018
We held our annual Christmas Program on Friday, December 14, 2018, performing 7 musical numbers in the family-filled sanctuary plus one Christmas skit and the finale of Silent Night performed in sign language.

We celebrated our Valentines Family Fun Night in style this year! An exciting night was had with our friends and family this year with everyone winning prizes and having a great time together!
